Thrasher Turbo Regal Chips
Introducing for the first time
ever:
· Anti-theft - by
far the best anti-theft device available! There is absolutely *no way* your
car can be stolen short of towing it away or replacing this chip! No wires
to splice, no external switches, its all in the chip! A secret "start
sequence" is needed to enable the injectors, otherwise the computer does
not command them to pulse! Obviously, we CAN NOT divulge the "start
sequence" here on the internet!
· 2 Step Launch Control
- an RPM limiter / stutter box with no external wires or release buttons
to push. Its all there in the chip! Any rpm can be programmed in. Improve
reaction times and makes for very consistent launches!
· Independent Power Enrichment
Fuel - no more "loading up" while staging on
the line - we can control brake torque and fuel in all gears independently!
This unique feature gives complete control over fueling on a pass.
Typical complaints of being too rich early in the run and too lean at the
end can be eliminated. We can program in exactly the fuel you need. Not even
a DFI has this capability. No matter how fast you are running, you can run
faster by optimizing your fueling by gear.
· Open loop operation - disconnect and remove the O2 sensor at any time! For
those of you running leaded race gas and don't want to "poison" an expensive
O2 sensor, you can simply disconnect and remove the O2 sensor altogether!
No codes will set, and you'll never notice it missing! We regularly
remove the O2 sensor and replace it with a plug that we have a thermocouple
probe mounted in so we can monitor EGTs when we race! See our extensive

· Shift Detection -
finally, detonation and spark retard at the shifts are a thing of the past!
By detecting gear shifts the spark map can truly be optimized.
· More spark advance in 1st
gear - our special code patch allows more spark
advance in 1st for quicker 60fts!
· Max MAF Enforcer - our
unique software algorithm to force MAF to read 255 above a preset RPM at
WOT. Eliminates MAF instabilities & fluctuations at high flow levels,
eliminates the "dip" in MAF reading on shifts that could result in detonation
and knock retard.
· False Knock Retard
Eliminator - another unique software algorithm to entirely
disable the ESC system for a preset amount of time after going WOT, after
which normal operation resumes. Only recommended for those of you with constant
false retard problems, especially on launch. No bulky external box, no wires
to splice, nothing to hook up - its all in the chip!
· WOT block learns reset to
128 - this eliminates this fueling variable as it
often changes from run to run. Many racers attempt to adjust fuel pressure
while dialing in, and fail to realize that the ECM could potentially compensate
for this change and negate it!
· MAF parameters
recalibrated - to compensate for non-stock air
intake system (i.e. K&N filters or Ram Air systems) inaccuracies.
· Perfectly smooth idle
- unlike other manufacturers who resort to raising the idle speed, the
Thrashers idle is smooth as glass at stock speeds. No one else comes
close!
· Improved fuel economy
- a unique feature to address highway fuel economy that also benefits turbo
spool up time. As seen in the January 96 issue of Car Craft with Heath
Elmers Real Street Eliminator entry! (No, we definitely do not guarantee
or even predict 46.3 MPG. No way. Not a chance. Dream on.)
· Independent Boost control for all
gears (provided stock wastegate system is in
use) Most other chips can only control boost independently in 2nd, 3rd &
4th. We can increase or decrease boost in 1st as well depending on your needs.
· Near instant turbo
spool-ups - ask our customers! Theyll confirm
that Thrasher chips spool up almost instantly, a significant improvement
over the other conventional chips!
· Improved cold starts and driveability - especially with high flow injectors. No more poor cold
idle, lean bogs and surges, or stalls!
· Anti-stall for larger
turbos, smaller convertors - the best implementation on the market!
